Indy

Indy's accounting solution is not available in the U.S. Instead, it offers a package tailored for freelancers and independent professionals, offering tools to manage various business tasks such as proposals, contracts, time tracking, invoicing, and payments. Bookkeeping is not a function of the software.

 

Bookkeeping Services

Automating the time-consuming and laborious aspects of bookkeeping for accounting and bookkeeping firms is where Botkeeper shines. With Indy, freelancers and small businesses get secure bank synchronization, automated bank reconciliation, categorization and breakdown of transactions, simplified document scanning, and personalized support. Available services include personal consultation and business creation assistance.

It also offers centralized communication, task and project management, secure password management, and a close tracker that helps you see at a glance how closing is proceeding.

Interacting with your team and even your clients is made simple with Activity Hub, a central space for all comments made anywhere across the platform, while Client & User Management helps you control access and permissions, customize your portal with your logo and favicon, and more. Botkeeper's Documents feature incorporates a secure portal for document storage, exchange, and review—it even includes version tracking and a customizable folder structure. And all of it is super-secure, with 256-bit encryption that's SOC 2 Type 2 accredited.

Indy's technology connects to your bank account and then imports all your transactions and tries to tag and categorize as many transactions as possible. They then put it on to the client to add missing data and add receipts or invoices to their transactions. Once this is done, the client will know how much VAT they’re supposed to get back at the end of the year. Indy then automatically fills out administrative forms based on their data. The client can then download their tax documents or send them directly from Indy.

A client can also use the Indy platform to get an overview of their business. They can see corporate revenue, track expenses, and see how much they earn per year based on personal expenses and their own pay.

Botkeeper’s SOC 2 Type 2 accreditation is granted by an industry best, reputable independent third party, and Botkeeper renews the report annually with continuous testings. That means any information shared with Botkeeper is protected to the highest current standards, and you can rest easy knowing your data is in good hands.

Botkeeper does not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us, and it does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties without your consent. Your personal information is secured from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, using the following methods for this purpose: SSL Protocol; Two Factor Authentication; and Database Encryption.

Indy offers two packages of services. One is for Liberal professionals at IR (EI to income tax) and the other for Companies at IS (EURL, SAS, SASU, SARL, SELARL, corporate tax). The Liberal professional package is 20€ HT/month (Or € 24 incl. VAT) and includes the following services: Bookkeeping, Declaration 2035, VAT declaration, DSI or DS-PAMC, DAS2, 2042-C-Pro, Tele-transmission of the tax return to your AGM, Piloting and Customer support by live chat and email. The Companies package is 49€ HT/month and includes the following services: Bookkeeping, Declarations 2033 and 2065, VAT declaration, DAS2, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, GA PV, Piloting and Customer support by live chat and email.

Botkeeper's pricing packages are customizable and flexible. Botkeeper has a pricing model meant for accounting firms to choose what their needs are based on a combination of their client's gross expenses, how often they need services, and the services they need from Botkeeper — but we offer the same white-glove service regardless of your package. Pricing starts at $155 per entity per month, and scales based on cadence and average entity expenses.
