What if I want the bookkeeper to do something outside the agreement?
If you'd like to train your dedicated bookkeeper on additional tasks, (much like hiring a new employee) you're welcome to do so, however, while we can guarantee a broad range of qualifications for tasks within our defined scope, we wouldn’t be able to guarantee the quality of work outside of that scope.
Remember that the items listed under the FAQ “Is there any service your bookkeepers WON’T provide?” are not offered under any circumstances.

What are the requirements for add-on services?
In order to qualify for add-on services, you must be paying for at least 10 Botkeeper Infinite licenses.

What if I have more clients than one bookkeeper can handle?
You aren't required to add bookkeepers. However, if your dedicated bookkeeper becomes overwhelmed, you're welcome to expand your team by adding another bookkeeper or even building a larger team with us to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Can you work in my firm's system instead of Botkeeper?
Absolutely! While many firms leverage our platform for efficiency, we can also work within your existing systems and frameworks—functioning as if we were part of your in-house team.

What level of communication can I expect?
Our bookkeepers work closely with your firm, whether it’s through email, Slack, or other forms of communication. We aim to be as integrated as possible, offering the flexibility to align with how you manage your client relationships.

Can I use your services without the Botkeeper platform?
To unlock access to our services, you need to be paying for a minimum of 10 licenses on the Botkeeper platform. However, the extent to which you use the platform is up to you.

What happens if my dedicated bookkeeper needs time off for vacation or sick days?
Just like any employee, your dedicated bookkeeper will need time off. However, with our services, you still have access to additional support layers, including a dedicated Customer Success Specialist, live chat, ticketing, and our knowledge base. This ensures that your firm continues to run smoothly, even if your bookkeeper is temporarily unavailable.
