[LIVE] March 27, 2025 Update

Botkeeper keeps getting better. Here are the updates we're releasing as of March 27th, 2025.

Firm Insights

  • Added new Firm Insights Module
    A new module named Firm Insights appears in the left navigation. Acting as the new home page when users log on, the module surfaces up-to-the-moment information across platform utilization, areas of automation, focus items, and team productivity. The dashboard-like presentation can surface aggregated information in the included areas. Learn more!

Client & User Management

  • Reassign open tasks when changing point of contact
    When changing a Client Point of Contact or Bank Statement Point of Contact, users will have the ability to reassign open tasks in addition to upcoming and future tasks to the new contact if desired.

Work

  • Reminder task to connect General Ledger (GL)
    When a new client is added to the platform and no GL is connected, a task will be automatically generated for the Client Point of Contact as a reminder to connect the GL.

Transaction Manager

  • Automation cadence reminder banner
    Users employing GL Automation will see a blue banner across all pages of Transaction Manager reminding them that categorizations happen once daily.

  • Vendors no longer assigned when the prediction falls under 25% certainty
    If the AI is not at least 25% confident in a vendor prediction, none will be assigned. Instead, the Payee field will be left empty and outlined in red. The low-confidence indicator will still appear.

Auto Bank Rec

  • Add or change folder mapping
    Auto Bank Rec has two new options in the action menu (three dots) for an account. Link Statement Folder allows a user to select the appropriate folder where bank statements are housed for the account when none had already been assigned. Change Statement Folder allows users to select a different folder from the one currently selected for bank statements. These are intended for instances in which the system was unable to automatically map the folder, or the existing folder mapping needs to be updated. 

General

  • Consolidated common actions to a new button in the platform header
    A new button has been added alongside the Settings, Notifications, and Profile buttons in the platform’s header. Labeled with a + symbol, the button provides easy access to Add Client, Invite User, Create Task, Add Connection, and Request Connection functionality from anywhere in the platform. Learn more!
