Billing System Update 2024

Streamlined Experience, Clearer Packaging, and Better License Management

We are excited to announce several enhancements to our billing system that will improve your experience and provide better visibility into your subscription.

  • When is this happening?
    We’re transitioning all customers to the new billing system by September 25th, 2024.
  • What’s Changing?
    Our new billing system integrates directly with Botkeeper to give you full visibility into your entity licenses. You’ll now see how many licenses you have in your subscription, how many are in use, and how many are available—all right within the platform. We’ve also simplified our packaging and naming conventions to make it easier to manage your licenses. Where there were previously several options, we’ve reduced it to just a few, making it simpler to add entities or make changes.
  • Invoice Updates: Focus on Licenses, Not Entity Names
    To reduce confusion and streamline your billing experience, invoices will now reflect the number of licenses in your subscription instead of listing entity names. While some customers valued seeing entity names, this change offers clearer and more familiar billing, similar to other popular software platforms. You can still view entity details in the "Client and User Management" section of the platform or reach out to our team for help. This provides more control and flexibility for managing your entities and packages.
  • How Does This Impact You?
    This new system enhances visibility and flexibility. You’ll be able to track available seats right within the Botkeeper platform. When it’s time to upgrade or add an entity, simply submit a support request, and we’ll make the adjustment instantly. Rest assured, your subscription remains unchanged unless you request updates.
  • What’s Next?
    Your Customer Success Specialist or Account Executive will soon reach out with a link to update your payment method. After that, billing will continue as usual.
