Gartner Says Botkeeper Is a "Cool Vendor," and We Tend to Agree

After many formative years building Erector Sets and solving Rubik's Cubes, we at Botkeeper are delighted to finally be recognized as “cool” by the global research and advisory firm Gartner! Although the designation might not pack the same social punch as it did in middle school, we’re honored to be listed in the “Cool Vendors” category of Artificial Intelligence for Small and Midsize Businesses.

We’re also pumped to be in great company in the AI category with other thought leaders and innovators like Magisto, Mode.Ai, and Robot Lawyer LISA


Each year, industry leaders and experts get jazzed about the findings released by Gartner, which uses its Magic Quadrant analyses to determine its results. This year, Gartner finalized its list of artificial intelligence leaders based on a number of criteria, with a particular focus on how tech companies are helping other businesses grow through their proprietary offerings.

The analysts summarize their thoughts by saying, “Business partnerships with AI vendors focusing on SMBs help accelerate technology and service provider market expansion. Technology product managers targeting SMBs can consider partnering with such vendors as they continue to expand their product designs, roadmap efforts, and business sustainability.”

Put into ever cooler lingo, they're saying that businesses looking to scale can turn to the tech companies in this list. 

They go on to say: “This year, we chose more stringent inclusion criteria, which had the effect of only including global vendors that currently have hyperscale integrated IaaS and PaaS offerings, or that are currently developing those offerings. These changes reflect Gartner’s belief that customer evaluations are currently primarily focused on vendors for strategic adoption across a broad range of use cases.” (bmc.com)
